HTH Xtreme Flocc is a heavy-duty treatment designed for pools with severe cloudiness or heavy algae contamination. Its aluminium hydroxychloride formula binds fine particles and debris, causing them to settle at the bottom of the pool for complete removal. This product is intended for pools with sand filters and requires manual vacuuming to waste to remove sediment. It is not suitable for cartridge, D.E., or filter bag systems.
Before use, ensure the filtration system is working properly and adjust pH to 7.2–7.6. Set the filter to circulate, pour the product evenly around the pool, and run the pump for several hours. Then switch the pump off for about 24 hours to allow particles to settle. Vacuum slowly to waste, then backwash and rinse the filter before returning to normal filtration.
