Directions for use
Do not dilute ALCOLIN PAINT STRIPPER.
Apply ALCOLIN PAINT STRIPPER to small areas at a time with a brush.
Spread a heavy layer evenly over the surface. Do not brush it out thinly like paint.
Leave for approximately 15 minutes until paint or coating has softened.
Remove paint with metal scraper. Steel wool can be used in difficult areas.
More than one application may be needed to completely remove the coating; therefore, repeat the application if necessary.
Wipe the scraped surface with water to remove any excess ALCOLIN PAINT STRIPPER and allow the surface to dry.
Dispose of removed paint carefully.
Keep lid closed between applications.
Notes: Some coatings are difficult to remove, such as two-part varnishes, acrylic paints and old glue. To improve efficiency of ALCOLIN PAINT STRIPPER, cover the applied product with plastic sheeting (tape in place if necessary) and leave for 1 hour. This prevents the drying out of the stripper and the active solvent component has more time to soften the coating.
