The Vorel – 73400 Liquid Gas Blow Lamp (1.7 kW, 1200°C, 190 g) is designed for professional and household use. Powered by widely available 190 g propane-butane cartridges (EN417 type), it delivers a maximum flame temperature of 1200°C and an average gas consumption of 123 g/h.
Its composite casing made of nylon and fiberglass ensures durability and resistance to high temperatures. The lamp features flame adjustment for precise control, making it suitable for soldering, welding, heating, varnish removal, defrosting, annealing, shaping or bending pipes, lighting grills, and gastronomy.
The lamp is lightweight (0.4 kg with empty tank) and easy to handle. Though it does not include piezo ignition, it is simple to operate with a manual ignition source. Installation of the gas tank is straightforward: secure the container, puncture the diaphragm, and lock it in place with the retaining nut until the cartridge is empty.
