The DEWALT DT2085-QZ jigsaw blades, equivalent to the Bosch T318A type, are designed for professional metal cutting applications requiring precision and durability. Each blade is made from fully hardened high-speed steel (HSS) with bi-metal cobalt reinforcement, providing excellent resistance to heat and wear during intensive use.
With an overall length of 132 mm and a working length of 108 mm, these blades are suitable for cutting thin metal sheets from 1.5 to 3 mm, as well as aluminum and non-ferrous materials up to about 65 mm thickness. The 1.2 mm tooth pitch (approximately 21 TPI) allows fine and accurate cutting, especially in thin materials where clean edges are required.
The curved tooth design reduces stress concentration on the blade, helping to extend service life, while the extra-deep gullets improve chip evacuation, preventing clogging and maintaining a steady cutting speed.
