HTH Granular+ Chlorine Mineralsoft is a powerful sanitiser formulated with calcium hypochlorite to effectively kill algae and bacteria, ensuring clean and clear pool water. Its fast-dissolving granules allow easy dosing, while Mineralsoft™ technology improves swimming comfort by making the water softer and more pleasant on the skin. This product is suitable for routine sanitisation as well as shock treatments in cases of algae, cloudy water, or extreme pool conditions.
For proper balance, Marbelite pools should maintain a pH between 7.2 and 7.6, while fibreglass pools should maintain a pH between 7.0 and 7.2. In fibreglass pools, chemicals should always be pre-dissolved to prevent damage to the lining. Water should be tested before each treatment.
With the pump running on the filter setting, add the recommended dose in the early evening, typically about 250 g for a 50,000-liter pool, maintaining free chlorine between 1.0 and 3.0 ppm. For shock treatment, use about three times the normal dose. Spread granules evenly around the pool, or add directly into the skimmer for vinyl or coloured linings to prevent bleaching.
