The Victor FBR-1 Flashback Arrestor is engineered to prevent flashbacks from traveling past the arrestor into the hose system. It is not intended for regulator use but is designed for torch-to-hose connections.
Victor recommends the use of flashback arrestors whenever possible, especially in heavy-duty applications where high flow capacity is required. The FBR-1 integrates both reverse flow check valves (to prevent reverse gas flow) and flashback arrestors (to stop flames from traveling past the arrestor in the event of a flashback).
