The Yato – YT-73921 Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet (DIN 5–13 / 99×56 mm) provides advanced protection and comfort for welders. Built from durable polypropylene (PP) with a polycarbonate (PC) lens, it features a TRUE COLOR auto-darkening filter with optical properties rated at 1/1/1/2. The helmet offers a wide viewing area of 99 × 56 mm and a filter size of 126 × 103 × 18 mm, ensuring clear visibility and precision during welding tasks.
Its dark state ranges from DIN 5–8 and DIN 9–13, while the light state is DIN 4. The helmet reacts in just 1/25,000 s, with adjustable dimming time (0.3–1 ms) and brightening time (0.1–1 s). Sensitivity adjustment is external via a knob, and the grind function disables dimming for use during cutting or grinding operations. The four-point headgear system ensures comfort and adaptability, while the TEST button allows routine checking of the filter’s self-dimming function.
Powered by a solar cell and two CR2450 3V batteries, the helmet includes a low-battery indicator and automatic power on/off. It is UV/IR proof, operates in temperatures from -5°C to +55°C, and can be stored between -20°C and +70°C. The set includes the helmet and five protective glasses (YT-73924).
Applications include MMA, MIG, MAG, and TIG welding, as well as grinding and cutting operations. With compliance to EN 175:1997 and EN 379:2003 + A1:2009 standards, the YT-73921 helmet ensures professional-grade safety and performance.
