The YCS8-II 40PV 3P DC1000 is part of the YCS8 series, engineered for photovoltaic power generation systems. It protects electrical equipment from surge overvoltages caused by lightning or grid disturbances by conducting excess energy to ground in nanoseconds.
This Class II SPD meets the 8/20 μs waveform standard, with a maximum discharge current of 40kA and a voltage protection level Up ≤ 1.5kV. Built on zinc oxide technology, it ensures no power frequency aftercurrent and a response time of ≤25ns.
Its modular, pluggable design allows easy maintenance. A green/red status window indicates operational health, and dual thermal disconnectors enhance safety. Optional remote signal contacts are available. Ideal for PV combiner boxes, distribution cabinets, and DC-side surge protection.
