The ER4043 Aluminium MIG Welding Wire is one of the most widely used aluminium filler metals, valued for its smooth feeding characteristics and consistent weld quality. Its 5% silicon content lowers the melting point (574–632°C) and improves wetting action, resulting in a highly fluid weld pool with reduced risk of hot cracking.
Manufactured to AWS A5.10 ER4043 (AlSi5) standards, this wire is suitable for professional fabrication and repair work. It is specifically designed for welding 6xxx series aluminium alloys (such as 6061 and 6063) as well as various casting alloys.
Supplied on a 7 kg spool, it is ideal for continuous workshop operations. As a solid aluminium-silicon wire, it requires 100% Argon or Argon/Helium shielding gas and is not flux-cored or copper-coated.
Designed for versatility, it is commonly used in automotive repair, general fabrication, and marine or industrial applications, including engine components, structural frames, trailers, and heat exchangers. Its stable arc performance ensures low spatter, smooth feeding, and bright, clean weld finishes with minimal post-weld cleaning.
